At the half Arsenal lead Nathan Trott and his West Ham United Under 23 teammates 2 – 0.
Arsenal took the lead in the 5th minute when Vlad Dragomir headed a cross past Trott who just missed the ball diving to his right.
Twenty minutes later it was 2 – 0 when Dragomir doubled the lead, a perfect ball eluded a defender leaving the Arsenal striker one on one with Trott who in the end stood no chance.
Arsenal came close to making it 3 – 0, but Trott saved a penalty taken by Eddie Nketiah.
Nketiah got revenge following his penalty save in the first half, when he scored the only goal of the second half and that came after Trott was able to make a save but the rebound fell to Nketiah who drilled a right footed shot past Trott.
Arsenal defeated Trott and his teammates 3 – 0 on a very cold night.
