Brimmer-Hunt & Evans Round Up's
Jazario Brimmer, Jahkeem Hunt and their Johnson & Wales University Men's Soccer teammates defeated Rivier 1-0 for Fourth-Straight Win.

The ability to win the close games has been a hallmark of the Johnson & Wales University men's soccer team this season.

Despite having plenty of opportunities, they couldn't get one into the net until the 54:02 mark. Jozef Jennings scored for the second time this year on a penalty kick.

Johnson & Wales spent most of the game in the Rivier end of the field.

Johnson & Wales had a 27-1 advantage in shots, including 10-1 on goal. JWU took eight corners, compared to one by Rivers. It's been more than six years since a JWU opponent did not get off more than one shot.

Meanwhile Liam Evans and his Northern Kentucky Men's Soccer teammates earned its fifth shutout of the season in a 3-0 victory over IUPUI in Horizon League play.

Northern Kentucky took the lead in the 23rd minute. Wlademir Babaew played a ball up to Tom Suchecki, and he was able to shoot it past the IUPUI goalkeeper to give NKU a 1-0 advantage.

Calvin Murphy extended the lead for Northern Kentucky in the 62nd minute. Abdul Kooistra played a ball into the middle of the box, and Murphy headed the ball to the left of the keeper.

Felix Komolong scored his first collegiate goal in the 88th minute. The ball was played up the field by Jim Barkei. Komolong received the pass, took a few touches, and fired a shot from 25 yards that went to the right side of the net to give NKU the 3-0 lead.
