NJCAA Region V has announced the Division III Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 10th - 16th.
Brookhaven College forward Deshae Darrell is the Division III player of the Week for Region V.
Darrell, a sophomore from Bermuda, scored the opening goal for No. 10 ranked Brookhaven in an action-packed game versus No. 6 ranked Eastfield College.
She finished the game with 8 shots.
She also took the corner kick in OT that found the head of midfielder Samantha Ramirez for the game-winning goal.

 Liam Evans and his Northern Kentucky Men's Soccer teammates earned a 2-2 draw against Marshall at NKU Soccer Stadium.
"We are starting to see some real resilience from this group, and tonight was the epitome of that," said NKU head coach Stu Riddle. "To come from behind twice at separate times against a great team was excellent, and we know we have nothing to fear moving forward."
Northern Kentucky tied the score at 1-1 in the 38th minute. Evans made a pass from the top of the box to the right side. Jake Minkovitz secured the pass and beat the keeper to the right. Evans recorded his first assist of the year.
Northern Kentucky evened the match once again in the 55th minute. Trailing 2-1, a Marshall foul in the box led to a penalty kick. Brett Wilson converted from the spot to even the match at 2-2.
