Tyquann Perinchief & Zeiko Harris

Tyquann Perinchief, Zeiko Harris and their Appalachian State University Men's Soccer teammates got back on track with its first shutout victory of the season over Longwood 1-0 at Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex.

Appalachian State’s shutout triumph is the first at home since last season's 2-0 win over Howard on October 8th, following the win they have already matched last season's win total at Ted Mack.

Calon Minors

Calon Minors and his USC Upstate Men's Soccer teammates picked up its first tie of the season after playing the High Point Panthers to a 1-1 draw in non-conference play at Vert Stadium.

Upstate moves to 2-4-1 on the season while High Point is 2-2-2 overall.

Michael Angelo Dovidio put USC Upstate ahead 1-0 in the 68th minute with his header. Upstate had a free kick far side from just past midfield and Williamson placed the ball just outside the six-yard box. Dovidio snuck behind the High Point defense and scored near side.

High Point responded in the 74th minute as Allen's goal tied the game at 1-1. Allen recorded the equalizer off a header from Fenwick's free kick.

Justin Donawa

Justin Donawa and his Dartmouth Men’s Soccer teammates took down Holy Cross, 5-0, in Worcester.

The win moves Dartmouth to 3-2-0 on the season while Holy Cross fall to 1-4-1.

Junior Noah Paravicini sent in the first goal at the five-minute mark, from an assist by Donawa. The offense wasted no time in trying to score a second time, when senior Wyatt Omsberg headed the ball into the net from a Donawa corner kick in the eighth minute.

Coming out strong into the second half, Danilack scored again in the 50th minute, sending in a quick shot after the ball bobbled around between players from a corner kick.

With 14 minutes left to play, junior Eduvie Ikoba scored his first goal of the year, heading a ball into the net from close range.

Danilack now has two goals on the season, tied with Omsberg, while Paravicini and Ikoba have one apiece. Donawa added two assists to his season total, leading the team with three. Freshman goalkeeper Christopher Palacios grabbed one save, but helped block several goal attempts throughout the night.
