Bermuda’s Primary School Girls and Middle School Girls took to the Shelly Bay Field to compete in the Bermuda School Sports Federation’s Seven-a-Side Tournament.
This tournament is on the Bermuda School Sports Federation calendar every year.
West End Primary defending their crown at the 2016 Primary School Girls Seven-a-Side Championships. West End fought off a stiff challenge from Warwick Academy to win the Final 1-0. Tournament top scorer Katherine Bean-Rosario scored the lone goal late in the first half. West End had defeated Northlands Primary 5-1 in their Semi-Final. Ramiah Brangman led the charge with a hat-trick. Goals from Jordan Greene and Bean Rosario rounded out the scoring for West End. Samiyah Burgess scored the lone Northlands goal from the penalty spot. Warwick made the final after edging past Saltus Grammar school 2-1 in a close match. Warwick got both goals from Isabella Simmons while Thea Teglegaard scored for Saltus.

T.N.Tatem Middle School cruised to their second title in as many years after defeating Bermuda High School 3-0 in the Middle School Girls Seven-a-Side Championships. TN Tatem got two goals from Zakayza Parsons and one from Danni Watson in the Final. TN Tatem got goals from Danni Watson and Adia Gibbons in their 2-0 Semi-Final victory over Warwick Academy. Bermuda High School needed a sudden death penalty shootout to defeat Saltus Grammar in the other semi final after both teams were deadlocked at 0-0.
