The Thomas College Men's Soccer team dominated Green Mountain College, 10 - 0 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) victory.
Thomas College Men's Soccer has 9 Bermudian players on their roster including Diondre Dowling, London Steede-Jackson, Mikal Simmons, Willie Clemons, MacQuille Walker, Jordan Lambe, Rai Sampson, Jordan Payne and Zeon Robinson.
In the rout, Thomas College stay undefeated in NAC play (7-3-1, 5-0 NAC) while Green Mountain stay winless on the season at 0-10 (0-4 NAC).
Senior Steede-Jackson scored four goals while sophomores Adam LaBrie and Josh Emard each scored a pair.
Thomas scored three times in the first 10 minutes of play to gain an early lead as Tevin Reid, Steede-Jackson and LaBrie each tallied their own marker. LaBrie added his second of the game to make the score 4-0 before Steede-Jackson ripped off three consecutive goals to make it 7-0 and send the visitors into half with a comfortable lead.
Thomas removed its starters for the second half, but still tacked three goals on the board with Emard's two goals and Jeffrey Nagy's single tally.
Sophomore keeper Jonathan Dutka was victorious in goal for Thomas, making one save while Sawyer Levy was given the loss for Green Mountain after making eight saves. Thomas outshot Green Mountain 37-4 and held a 10-0 advantage in corners.
