Vanessa James and Morgan Cipres began competing in the French Elite Skating Championships at the Vaujany Ice Rink.
In the Pairs Short Programme, James and Cipres would lead at the conclusion of the Programme with 82.70 points, the pair are coming off that strong performance in Vancouver that saw them win the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Pairs Title.
