The Minister of Social Development and Sports Zane DeSilva wished Bermudian footballer Nahki Wells all the best on his transfer this week from Huddersfield Town to the Premier League's Burnley on a three year contract.
Minister DeSilva said, "Nahki is a great role model for our youth. We know he will continue to fly the Bermuda flag proudly and we will be watching his progress closely as he competes in the Premier League. He was Huddersfield’s top scorer for two consecutive seasons between 2014 and 2016 and it has been inspiring to watch as he gains more and more recognition for his skills. It is particularly heartwarming to read all the comments from Huddersfield fans today who wish him well and remark as to what a top guy he is both on and off the pitch."
