Nahki Wells watched from the sideline as his German striker teammate Collin Quaner marked his Huddersfield debut with a goal as they cruised past Rochdale to book their place in the FA Cup fifth round at Spotland.
Quaner, signed from Union Berlin last week, knocked home an Izzy Brown cross five minutes from the break before a Brown penalty and two late strikes from substitute Michael Hefele wrapped up victory.

Reggie Lambe and his Promotion chasers Carlisle teammates saw their winless run stretched to five game after allowing 10-man Barnet to fight back for a 1-1 draw.
Charlie Wyke put transfer talk to one side to grab a first-half lead for Carlisle by scoring his 18th goal of the season, before John Akinde replied with a penalty for Bees after the visitors had Simeon Akinola sent off.

Zeiko Lewis and his New York Red Bulls teammates opened the 2017 preseason with a 2-0 win over the Portland Timbers at the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson.
The teams played three 30-minute sessions.
“For us, we have to accelerate our process here because we have a very important game in about 26 days,” said Red Bulls Head Coach Jesse Marsch. “The emphasis was to come down here and play MLS competition immediately. I think, overall, a really good performance from us. We were very organized. We’re missing a bunch of guys, but we’ve got a really good club here, and a bunch of good, young players that we really like and think have bright futures…. On a night like tonight I think you saw a lot of them have good nights and [they] fit into the way we play so, overall, thought it was pretty good.”
