The 2019 Parapan Games for Bermuda got underway in the Athletes Village with the Flag Raising Ceremony.
In attendance was Bermuda’s four athletes Jessica Lewis, Steve Wilson, Omar Hayward and Yushae Desilva-Andrade as well as the Bermuda Paralympics Chef-de-Mission Ann Lindroth.
Bermuda also has a strong support team behind the athletes, who all stood proudly as the Bermuda Flag was raise.
Lindroth announced that Wilson will be the Bermuda Flag Bearer for the Opening Ceremony and Hayward will have the Bermuda Flag at the Closing Ceremony.
