CARIFTA Swimming Championships Spotlight on Emma Harvey

Islandstats.com will begin the countdown to the CARIFTA Swimming Championships with a Spotlight on each Athlete that will represent Bermuda.

Today we bring you Emma Harvey.

Q. Do you have a particular swimming idol?

A.
Hannah Miley & Chad le Clos.

Q. When did you realize that you wanted to keep swimming?

A.
When I was about 8.

Q. What would you describe as your strongest discipline?

A.
Butterfly and Sprints

Q. Which do you feel needs the most improvement?

A.
Breaststroke and my turns

Q. What one moment in Swimming to date are you most proud of?

A.
I think it would have to be Carifta last year.

Q. What is your favorite Meal?

A.
Hmmmm……probably Curry.

Q. What are your goals for 2015?

A.
To have some Personal Best times at Carifta and possibly Medal.

Q. Can you give an insight into an average week of training for you?

A.
On average I swim about 12 hours a week, 3 sessions with the National Team and 4 with my club, Harbour.

Q. Something many people don’t know about you?

A.


Q. What do you do when you’re not swimming?

A.
I enjoy hanging out with my friends and relaxing after a hard practice.
