Bermuda led by Diego Richardson kicked off their opening match of the Men’s Under 20 CONCACAF Championships Qualifying Stage against Barbados in Puerto Rico.
Bermuda’s Starting Line-Up: Peter Silvester, Malachi Trott, Zakiyah Lee, Ne-Jai Tucker, Diego Richardson, Senoj Mitchell, Rayquon Woodley-Smith, Jalun Hassell, Arnezha Astwood, Seke Spence, Luciano Swan - Substitutes: Jaiden Manders, Malik Joell, Khiari Sharrieff-Hayward, Amir Thomas, Ayleal Dill, Simeon Burrows, Samori Greenidge-Saltus, Jenico Sealey. Luciano Swan gave Bermuda the lead in the 22nd minute, but Nigel Griffith equalized for Barbados in the 33rd minute as the teams went to the break with the score level at 1 – 1.
Thierry Gale put Barbados ahead in the 68th minute, but four minutes later Swan scored his second to level the score at 2 – 2.
Barbados got the go ahead got and the winner in the 86th minute when Gale scored his second goal of the game.
