Daniel Phillips continued competing in the Sanchez-Casal Youth Cup Under 14 Tournament in Spain.
Playing in the Tennis Europe Level 1 Tournament Main Draw Second Round, Phillips took on Alejo Sanchez Quilez from Spain, Phillips would go down in a three set battle.
Quilez won the first set 7-5, but Phillips would level the match at 1 – 1 when he won the second set 6-2, but Quilez would close out match winning the third set 6-4.
Phillips then teamed up with Niklas Hoffmann from Germany in the Boy’s Doubles, the pair took on David Gheorghe and Cristian Marton both from Belgium.
Phillips and Hoffmann went down in straight sets 6-2, 6-0.
