Praised for their skill, character and commitment, young Bermudian footballers, Matthew Moreno, Jared Lines and Riley Robinson were recently selected to join this year's Black Rock Football Clubs Prep School Academy Under 16 Elite Team.
This invitation came after try-outs over two weekends involving 200 Boys and Girls selected from 35 prep schools across New England.
These talented and driven young men, also play for their schools’ varsity teams and participation on both teams require them to maintain a high level of academics and discipline.
Black Rock Football Club has established itself as a preeminent club in the US having produced many top college players and young professionals: notably Bermudian Zeiko Lewis and more recently, Justin Donawa.
The club has gained national acclaim for its exciting brand of attacking football and its focus on player development both on and off the field.
