Nahki Wells and his Queens Park Rangers teammates went down 2 – 1 to Leeds at Elland Road.
Wells put Queens Park Rangers 1-0 up with a brilliantly taken goal after a good ball by Angel Rangel, but on the stroke of half-time Leeds drew level with a close-range strike by Kemar Roofe.
Roofe sealed victory for the hosts after the break from the penalty spot.
In the 26th minute Rangel floated a ball over the top and the QPR loan striker Wells latched onto it to get clear of the Leeds backline, before he had a cool finish.
Reggie Lambe was an unused substitute as his Cambridge United teammates were edged out with a solitary second half goal from James Norwood inflicting a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Tranmere Rovers.
In the 75th minute Cambridge United’s goalkeeper David Forde made a stunning save initially to stop shot by Jonny Smith, but the hosts were quickest to the loose ball and Norwood eventually tapped it over the line.
Jonte Smith and his Lewes Football club teammates defeated Bishop Stortford 2 – 1.
Bishop Stortford took the lead in the 3rd minute through a Ryan Charles goal, but Lewes were level in the 14th minute when James Hammond scored.
Lewes would take a 2 – 1 lead with a goal in the 55th minute when Frankie Chappell scored, Marcus Elliott replaced Smith in the 79th minute as they hung on for the win.
