NAHKI WELLS

Nahki Wells and his Queens Park Rangers teammates have recorded their first away win of their Sky Bet Championship season after securing a 2-1 victory against Bolton Wanderers at the University of Bolton Stadium.

A first-half effort from midfielder Luke Freeman and a well-taken second-half goal from Ebere Eze proved the difference for Steve McClaren’s, who held on for the three points despite Josh Magennis pulling one back for the home side.

REGGIE LAMBE

Reggie Lambe and his Cambridge United teammates were put to the sword by a clinical Colchester United who ran away 3-0 winners in Sky Bet League Two.

Sammie Szmodics and Frank Nouble gave the hosts a two goal cushion in the first half, before Courtney Senior completed the score line in the second period.

Having returned from international duty Lambe stepped back into the U’s starting eleven, alongside center back Greg Taylor who made his first start following a hamstring injury as United’s only two changes.

In the 58th minute JK Navra Trans would go in front when Dmitry Barkov scored, but Erik Sorga would draw Flora level at 2 – 2 two minutes later.
