Delray Rawlins and his Sussex teammates have advanced to the Vitality Blast Semi-Final after defeating Durham at Emirates Riverside by 5 wickets.
Durham batting first were restricted to 140/7 after 20 overs, they got off to a flying start scoring 42 runs off the first three overs, however they could only score 98 runs off the final 17, Ben Stokes fresh off his acquittal was their top scorer with 34, while Will Beer was the pick of the Sussex bowlers with figure of 4-0-17-2.
In reply Sussex would score 144/5 after 18.2 overs thanks in large to Rawlins and Laurie Evans, the pair put on a 70 run 3rd wicket partnership off 8.3 to take the score from 28/2 to 98/3 when Rawlins fell for 42 off 27 balls, he hit 7 fours in his 34 minute stay at the crease, Evans would go onto top the scoring 63 not out. Mark Wood was the pick of the Durham bowlers with figures of 4-0-25-2.
