 Yannick Hillier competed in the Shawnigan Lake Rowing Regatta on the Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia Canada representing Brentwood College School.
Hillier and his teammates finished 2nd competing in the Under 19 Junior Varsity Men 4x- Coxed four race stopping the clock in a time of 6:39.20, finishing 5:01 behind winner S Velestuk from Delta Deas Rowing Club who clocked 6:34.19, Hillier finished 5:20 ahead of the third place finisher M Lyall from Vancouver College.
Competing in the Men’s Under 19 Light Weight Singles, Hillier finished 5th in a race of 10 competitors, Hillier was clocked in a time of 7:50.91, he finished 24.13 seconds behind the winner N Gulka from Fort Langley Youth Rowing Society who clocked 7:26.78.
