Bermuda’s Micah Franklin has advanced to the Commonwealth Games Plate Semi-Finals after he won his Men's Classic Plate Quarter-Final after only two points played.
Franklin who advanced to the Plate Quarter-Finals after his Indian opponent withdrew, then took on Tayyab Aslam from Pakistan, who after just two points withdrew due to injury with Franklin leading 2 – 0.
Franklin having reached the Plate Quarter-Finals four years ago at the Commonwealth Games in Scotland has gone one step further this time.
Meanwhile Bermuda’s Chef-de-Mission Katura Horton Perinchief is beaming with pride with the performances of the team thus far.
