Cardiff won the toss and invited Glamorgan to bat, at lunch they reached 115/1, after 34 overs, Leverock had bowled 7-0-37-0.
When play resumed after Lunch, only 1.4 overs were bowled before rain halted play, with Glamorgan on 122/1.
Play was later called for the day due to a wet outfield.
