Rai Simons

Ten man Oldham Athletic ended Rai Simons and his Chesterfield teammates five match unbeaten league run at the Proact thanks to a Peter Clarke header in stoppage time.

Oldham’s Anthony Gerrard was sent off for a second bookable offence during the interval, but Chesterfield were unable to capitalise on their extra man advantage.

In that stoppage time period, Oldham had a couple of corners and the second was turned in by Peter Clarke with a bullet header.

Reggie Lambe

Reggie Lambe was an unused substitute as his ten men of Carlisle teammates held out to take the three points at Brisbane Road having come from behind courtesy of first goals for the club for Gary Liddle and Jamie Proctor.

Proctor was harshly dismissed in the second half, but Carlisle United did enough to show that their push promotion is well and truly back on the rails with an impressive away display picking up a 2 - 1 win over Orient.

Zeiko Lewis

Zeiko Lewis was not in the New York Red Bulls team that fell to New England Revolution, 2-0 in a preseason match at Grande Sports World.

The match was New York’s third of the 2017 preseason as the club continues preparations for the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals and upcoming MLS season.

Kei Kamara scored the opener in the 25th minute, and Brian Wright iced the game in the final minutes of the match.

Alex Muyl left the game in the 37th minute due to an injury caused by an aerial collision.
