For the third time this winter, senior Dage Minors of the Franklin Pierce University men's track & field team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Track Athlete of the Week, this time for the week ending on Jan. 29, as announced on Tuesday afternoon by the Conference office.

In addition, Franklin Pierce's 4x400-meter relay team was named NE10 Relay of the Week.

At the Terrier Invitational at BU, Minors finished second with a time of 1:48.70 in the 800 meters, meeting the NCAA Championships automatic qualifying mark in the process. It is the fastest time in the nation this winter, and stands as the fifth-fastest time in the history of Division II.

Minors also ran the lead leg of the also-honored 4x400-meter relay, which ran a school-record time of 3:19.52 and move into second in the NE10. Minors was followed in the lineup by junior Nicholas Jacques (Westfield, Mass.), freshman Trevor Guay (Londonderry, N.H.) and senior Cory Cataldo (Tewksbury, Mass.).

Meanwhile, Saint Augustine's University's Shaquille Dill was named CIAA Men's Indoor Runner of the Week.

Dill earned conference honors for their performances at the JDL College Kickoff Classic in December 2016.

Dill, the 2016 NCAA Division II 800 outdoor champion, ran the fastest CIAA time 1:53.12 this season to place second in the men's 800-meter run at the JDL College Kickoff Classic. The time ranks 10th nationally in Division II and is a provisional time.
