The inaugural UANA (Union Americana de Natacion) Swimming Cup got underway in Florida with Bermuda Swimmers taking to the Pool.
Logan Watson-Brown finished 11th competing in the 13-14 Girls 400 LC Meter Freestyle, she touched the wall in a time of 4:54.29, Taylor White was 12th clocking a time of 4:55.99 and Gabriela Pitman finished 17th with a time 5:04.51. During the 15-17 Girls 400 LC Meter Freestyle Skyler Powell finished 15th she was clocked at 4:50.70, while Ashley Irby finished 19th with a time of 5:03.56.
Brian Desmond clocked a time of 4:29.25 on his way to finishing 9th in the 13-14 Boys 400 LC Meter Freestyle, Jack Harvey finished 22nd stopping the clock in a time of 4:43.85 and Caleb Ingham finished 30th clocking a time 5:10.88.
Sam Williamson finished 12th competing in the 13-14 Boys 200 LC Meter IM, touching the wall in a time of 2:24.45.
Powell would clock a Personal Best time of 2:36.60 15-17 Girls 200 LC Meter IM on her way to finishing 21st.
Watson-Brown just missed out on a podium spot when she finished 4th in the 13-14 Girls 50 LC Meter Freestyle clocking 27.80, while Pitman finished 16th with a time of 29.32.
Four Bermuda Boys competed in the 13-14 50 LC Meter Freestyle, Williamson finished 22nd with a time of 26.99, Desmond was 27th clocking 27.42, finishing 31st was Ingham who recorded a time of 27.64 and Harvey was clocked at 28.63 on his way to finishing 37th.
Irby finished the 15-17 Girls 50 LC Meter Freestyle in 22nd clocking a time of 29.07, while Powell finished 37th clocking 30.15.
