Mitchell Gariepy and his South Carolina Men's Swimming and Diving teammates fell to N.C. State at the Carolina Natatorium.
The N.C. State Men's team, which finished fourth at last season's NCAA Championships, finished ahead of South Carolina 198.50-99.50,
Gariepy swam the second leg for the South Carolina Men’s 200 Yard Medley Relay that finished 4th with a time of 1:32.90.
Gariepy would touch the wall with the fourth fastest time of 56.64 during the Men’s 100 Yard Breaststroke, Gariepy would then finish 7th competing in the Men’s 100 Yard Butterfly clocking a time of 51.17.
Gariepy would swim the second leg for the South Carolina Men’s 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team that would finish 4th with a time of 3:11.68.
