Long Course Championships Day 1 Round Up

As predicted by National Swimming Coach Ben Smith during the Pre-Race Show that we would see fast times, several Personal Best times was achieved on Day One.

During the Girls 12 & Under 400 LC Meter Freestyle, Holly Bruton touched the wall first with a Personal Best time of 5:23.67, while her sister Jessica Burton finished second also clocking a Personal Best time of 5:26.11.

Jack Harvey took 17 seconds off his Personal Best time on his way to winning the Boys 12 & Under 400 LC Meter Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 5:02.77, Keagan Woolley finished second with a Personal Best time of 5:02.96 and Brian Desmond recorded a Personal Best time of 5:22.60 finishing third.

Skyler Powell won the Girls 13 & Over 800 LC Meter Freestyle, with a Personal Best time of 10:24.14, with Megan Lau finished second with a time of 10:28.73 and Erica Hawley clocked a time 10:58.03 on her way to finishing third.

The final event of the evening saw Evan Farrow touch the wall first with a time of 18:59.97 winning the Boys 13 & Over 1500 LC Meter Freestyle, while Jude Moseley took almost 12 seconds off his previous Best Time finishing second with a time of 19:07.77.
