Moore & Harvey Win Medals in Region Championships

Madelyn Moore and Emma Harvey competed in the ASA South West Region Championships.

Both Moore and Harvey took to the pool in the Women’s Open Age Group Division.

During the Women’s 50m Freestyle Preliminaries Moore touched the wall in a time of 26.59 which was the fastest time.

During the Final Moore would once again clock a winning time of 26.33, which breaks the Bermuda Record of 26.48 she set back on August 27th, 2017, during the 6th FINA World Junior Championships.

Harvey finished 2nd in the Women’s MC 50m Butterfly Preliminaries, touching the wall in a time of 28.16, while Moore finished 4th clocking 28.91.

During the Women’s Open 50m Butterfly Final, Harvey finished on top of the podium clocking 28.06, while Moore finished 4th after recording a time of 28.87.

Harvey finished 10th competing in the Women’s MC 100m Freestyle Preliminaries touching the wall in a time of 59.62, while Moore was 12th clocking 59.99. Harvey would also finish 12th in the Women’s MC 50m Backstroke Preliminaries with a time of 31.23.

During the Women’s MC 100m Backstroke Preliminaries Harvey finished 15th with a time of 1:07.51, Harvey would finish 3rd during the Women’s MC 100m Butterfly stopping the clock in a time of 1:03.99, while Moore finished T16th touching the wall in a time of 1:07.77.

Harvey would finish the Women’s Open 100m Butterfly Final in third place with a time of 1:03.86.
