Shark Swimmers Win More Medals in Canada

Only one of the eight swimmers from the Bermuda Sharks Swim Club continued competing in the Richmond Hill Fall Classic Swim Meet in Toronto, Ontario during the morning session.

Tayla Horan finished 9th competing in the 13-14 Girls 200 LC Meter Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 2:36.79, Horan then finished 7th during the 13-14 Girls 50 LC Meter Butterfly clocking a time of 35.65.

Horan would finish the 13-14 Girls 100 LC Meter Breaststroke in 15th with a time of 1:39.51. Horan would also compete in the 13-14 Girls 100 LC Meter Backstroke were she would finish 8th clocking a time of 1:25.34.

In the Evening Session 10 more Medals were claimed, 5 Gold, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze.

During the Girls 11 Year Olds 200 SC Meter Freestyle Bella Howes won the Bronze Medal touching the wall with the third fastest time of 2:43.79, Daria Desmond finished 5th clocking 2:49.50 and Adrianna Argent finished 7th clocking 2:50.04.

Daniel Kunst won the Boys 11 Year Olds 200 SC Meter Freestyle Gold Medal clocking a Personal Best time of 2:29.31, while Marleigh Howes finished 4th while competing in the Girls 10 & Under 200 SC Meter Freestyle with a time of 2:47.71.

Desmond, Argent and Bella Howes finished 6th, 7th and 8th in the Girls 11 Year Olds 50 SC Meter Butterfly, Desmond clocked 41.87, Howes finished in 41.90 and Howes touched the wall in a time of 43.33.

Amelie Argent finished 7th competing in the Girls 12 Year Olds 50 SC Meter Butterfly clocking a time of 46.83, while Kunst claimed his second Gold Medal of the night winning the Boys 11 Year Olds 50 SC Meter Butterfly with a time of 39.71.

In the Boys 10 & Under 50 SC Meter Butterfly, Luke Horan finished 7th with a Personal Best time of 51.14, while Adrianna Argent won a Bronze Medal during the Girls 11 Year Olds 100 SC Meter Breaststroke clocking a Personal Best time of 1:36.72, Desmond was 4th in 1:37.80 and finishing 5th was Bella Howes clocking 1:38.62.

The Boys 11 Year Olds 100 SC Meter Breaststroke saw Kunst make it three for three in the Gold Medal department clocking a Personal Best winning time of 1:35.79.

Bella Howes finished 5th competing in the Girls 11 Year Olds 100 SC Meter Backstroke clocking a time of 1:29.02, Daria Desmond was 7th with a time of 1:30.16 and Adrianna Argent was 11th in 1:31.79.

Amelie Argent was 4th competing in the Girls 12 Year Olds 100 SC Meter Backstroke touching the wall in a Personal Best time of 1:28.88.

Kunst took to the pool to compete in the Boys 11 Year Olds 100 SC Meter Backstroke and again stood atop of the podium claiming yet another Gold Medal with a time of 1:31.12.

Marleigh Howes finished 5th competing in the Girls 10 & Under 100 SC Meter Backstroke, she recorded a Personal Best time of 1:35.31. Luke Horan finished 11th while competing in the Boys 10 & Under 100 SC Meter Backstroke clocking a Personal Best time of 1:49.23.

The Girls 11 Year Olds 50 SC Meter Breaststroke produced a Silver and Bronze Medal, Bella Howes finished second clocking a time of 43.68, while Arianna Argent finished third clocking 44.23, Daria Desmond touched the wall with the 5th fastest time of 44.45.

Amelie Argent finished 7th competing in the Girls 12 Year Olds 50 SC Meter Breaststroke with a Personal Best time of 49.63, Kunst proved unstoppable when he won his 5th Gold Medal on the night winning the Boys 11 Year Olds 50 SC Meter Breaststroke with a Personal Best time of 42.75.

Luke Horan finished the night off with a Bronze Medal in the Boys 10 & Under 50 SC Meter Breaststroke clocking a Personal Best time of 51.85.
