Madelyn Moore was selected to represent Devon County in the National County Team Championships at Ponds Forge Sheffield.
Moore attends Plymouth College in the UK and swims for Plymouth Leander.
Moore swam the last leg in the first heat of the 16/17 Female 200m Medley Relay, Moore’s 50m Freestyle split time was 25.59 helping the team to a first place finish with a time of 1:55.78
In the 6x50m Mixed Freestyle event Moore swam the anchor leg and was 3rd coming into the the final leg but off the turn moved into first place to bring Devon home for another exciting win time of 2:33.46
Devon moved up from Division 2 to Division 1 this year to achieve their best ever overall result.
Devon with 435 points finished in second place just behind Yorkshire 456. Devon also finished ahead of one of the favourites Lancashire who finished in 3rd place with 423 points.
