The Bermuda Amatuer Swimming Association held a Long Course Swimming Meet at the National Sports Center Pool, giving youngsters the opportunity to meet Carifta Qualifying Standards.
The Meet which took place at the same location as the Bermuda 10K Road Race finished with four swimmers meeting the Standards and three Records were broken.
With a Personal Best time of 5:29.20 Sam Williamson broke his own 11-12 Boys 400 Meter IM record time of 5:44.45 he set back on May 20th 2016 during the Validus National Championship.
Williamson also broke Ethan Daley’s 11-12 Boys 200 Meter IM Record time of 2:37.06 he set on April 20th 2014 during the XXIX Carifta Swimming Championships in Aruba when he touched the wall in 2:33.74.
Another Ethan Daley Record fell when Keagan Woolley recorded a time of 33.97 during the 13-14 Boys 50 Meter Breaststroke, break the record of 34.27 set back on May 22nd 2016 during the Validus Bermuda National Championships.
Finn Moseley met the Standard during the 11-12 Boys 50 Meter Backstroke clocking 35:19.
Carys Nokes met the Standard for the 11-12 Girls 100 Meter Breaststroke touching the wall in a Personal Best time of 1:29.15.
During the 11-12 Girls 50 Meter Butterfly Jaedyn Judd met the qualifying standard with a Personal Best time of 33:49.
Woolley met the Standard in the 13-14 Boys 100 Meter Freestyle with a time of 59.21.
