The World Short Course Swimming Championships continued in the Canadian city of Windsor.
Rebecca Heyliger competed on Day Two when she took to the pool for the Women’s 100m Freestyle.
Competing in Lane Two of Heat 9, Heyliger stopped the clock in a time of 56.15.
Heyliger’s time saw her finish 2nd in her Heat and 46th overall out of 127 swimmers.
Under the weather Heyliger said, “I've been fighting a cold for the past three weeks but was able to go 4 tenths faster than 3 weeks ago so I'm happy about that.”
“I would've liked to get under the 56 second mark but there were things I did in my race that I know I can improve on to get to the 55 second range,” continued Heyliger.
Heyliger concluded, “Overall, I'm happy going a best time.”
