When you are on fire you are on fire, Julian Fletcher has done it yet again breaking a National Record, this time in the Men’s 100m Breaststroke during the 2016 FINA Short-Course World Cup Series in Hong Kong.
Fletcher will leave Asia having broken three National Breaststroke Records over the three World Cup events.
Fletcher finished third competing in Heat One just missing out on a spot in the Final when he was 11th overall stopping the clock in a time of 1:01.57, breaking his record of 1:02.04 he set on December 3rd 2014 during the 12th FINA World Championships in Doha, Qatar.
Fletcher would advance to the Final becoming the first Bermudian to swim in a World Cup Final. Fletcher finished 8th in the Final clocking a time of 1:02.46.
