The 2016 FINA Short-Course World Cup Series moved to Hong Kong, with Bermuda Olympian Julian Fletcher breaking two Bermuda National Records.
Fletcher competing in Heat Four of the Men's 50m Breaststroke finished 5th with a time of 28.50 which saw him finish 10th overall. Fletcher’s time is also a new Bermuda National Record, which was broken from his performance in 2016 FINA Short-Course World Cup Series in Singapore of 28.65.
Fletcher clocked a time of 2:16.91 during the Men's 200m Breaststroke, breaking his record of 2:17.25 set back on December 5th 2014, during the 12th FINA World Championships in Doha, Qatar. Fletchers finished 4th in Heat One and 11th overall.
