Devwah Whaley and his Arkansas Football teammates held its first practice of the Chad Morris era at the Fred W. Smith Football Center Practice Fields.
Arkansas worked out for 21 periods in helmets and shorts. It was the first of 15 practices this spring, including the annual Red-White Game on April 7th.
The practice was upbeat and high-tempo, and the new Razorbacks head coach was complimentary of how his team responded on the first day.
“Overall, the energy level was extremely high, which is what we expect every day,” Morris said. “It starts with our coaching staff, and I thought our coaching staff did a really good job of having our players prepared … We had great energy, and I’m really proud of our players.”
