Coming off an impressive 9-4 campaign and a Second Round appearance in the NCAA Division II Football Championship Playoff, Delta State University (DSU) placed six Statesmen including George Roberts on the Division II Conference Commissioners' Association All-Super Region II Team, including four First Team and two Second Team selections.
Senior All-Americans Chris Robinson (RB) and Roberts (OL) were named to the First Team for a second-straight year, while Brandon Gaddy (NG) and Jamoral Graham (CB) were tabbed to the First Team defense. Innis Claud, V (OL) and Landy Tullo (LB) were named to the Second Team.
"We are extremely proud of the effort these young men have put in this season and this honor is without a doubt deserved," DSU head coach Todd Cooley said. "All six of these young men exemplify what it means to me a part of the DSU Family and I am thankful for their efforts this season in the green-and-white."
Only West Alabama (8) had more selections on this year's D2CCA All-Super Region II Team.
