IslandStats.com
Ndavyah Williams and his Haifa Underdogs teammates suffered their first defeat of the season in the Israeli National Football League as they went down 30 – 28 to the Ramat Hasharon Hammers.

Haifa took the lead 7 - 0 with a 8 yard run from Williams who crossed for a Touchdown.

Haifa took the lead 14-0 after a pass from Matt Kaufman, but the Hammers responded immediately with a Jonathan Korn touchdown, 14-8.

Kaufman threw for another Touchdown as the Underdogs took a 21-8 lead. Following an unsuccessful attack by the Hammers, Haifa missed a Field Goal attempt from 40 yards and went to the half leading by 13.

Early in the second half Adam Kima broke free for the Hammers and ran 46 yards to reduce the difference to 21-14, but Haifa immediately answered when Kaufman went across the line on a Quarterback Sneak as Haifa took the lead 28-14.

Tomer Koren almost returned the kickoff for a touchdown but he started celebrating too early and was tackled before he reached the End-Zone and the judges then threw a Flag on the play for unsportsman like conduct resulting in a 15 yard penalty, the Hammers still managed to produce it points with another run making the score 28-22.

The Hammers pinned Haifa to their 1 yard line after a punt and Williams was tackled in the End-Zone after a hand off for a Safety pulling the Hammers within four with the score 28 - 24.

Korn delivered a long Touchdown pass inside the last minute as the Hammers came from behind to record the victory 30 – 24.

Williams finished the game with 19 Carries for 95 yards and the One Touchdown.
