Elizabeth Parson’s Wagner College Women’s Golf teammate Junior Pascalle Tego improved her score in each round she played at the Boston College Collegiate, capping her performance with a one-over par Final Round, which earned her a 17th finish in the 54-hole event held at the Blue Hill Country Club.
During the 36-hole Opening Day of the event, Tego shot a 79 before shaving off three strokes in round two, coming in with a 76. Her 73 today gave her a three-round score of 228 and allow her to pass 16 players as she was in a tie for 33rd position after 36 holes. Also, her T-17th showing was better than 70 other competitors in the 87-person field.
Freshman Elise Keane and senior Kyra Alexander came in with matching three-day totals of 241 which put them in a tie for 57th-place, while freshman Georgia Naples and sophomore Parsons rounded out the Wagner College lineup in 81st and 87th respectively.
In the team standings, Wagner finished in 15th place. The University of Richmond, paced by medalist Elsa Diaz who shot a one-over par, three-round total of 217, won the team event while host Boston College and Georgetown finished in second and third-place, respectively.
