Walker Campbell’s William & Mary Men’s Golf teammate senior Sam Aronoff fired a 1-under par 139 to be tied for sixth through 36-holes at the EKU Raising Cane's Intercollegiate at the University Club in Arlington.
William & Mary sits tied for fifth after firing a 586 (+8) in the first two rounds.
Host Eastern Kentucky holds the 36-hole lead in the tournament. They shot a 562 (+2) and hold a four-stroke lead.
Aronoff had a strong day as he fired a first round 69 (-1), which he followed with a 70 (E) in the second round.
Juniors David Hicks and Will Stewart as well as senior Bryce Johnson are all tied with 144's (+4). Hicks and Johnson shaved two-strokes off their first round score, each shooting a 73 (+3), before lowering to a 71 (+1) in the second round, while Stewart fired a first-round 68 (-2). Sophomore Campbell rounded out William & Mary scoring with a 146 (+6).
