Skidmore College Men's Golf Senior Mitchell Campbell was named as the Liberty League's Golf Player of the Year, highlighting three Skidmore student-athletes that were named to the All-League Team, the conference announced.
Campbell is the fifth Skidmore player to and the first since John McCarthy in 2012 to win Player of the Year honors.
He earns his first All-League first team selection and third overall after completing a breakout season. Campbell averaged 75.2 strokes per round, earning five top-10 finishes during the season.
That includes a pair of first place finishes at the Manhattanville Invitational, and in the Liberty League Championship, falling short of the individual title on a playoff hole after a three-way tie.
