Bermuda’s Trio of Mark Phillips, Jarryd Dillas and Eric West will play their 1st round of the World Amateur Team Championships tomorrow September 21st for the Eisenhower Trophy.
Conditions are extremely hot and humid in Riviera Maya, Mexico and it is going to be a test of endurance in addition to the challenges of the courses.
In the 1st round, the Bermuda team will be playing the Iberostar Playa Paraiso Golf Course with a 12:20 tee time for Jarryd Dillas, 12.30pm – Mark Phillips and 12:40pm – Eric West. This is a par 72, 6701 yard Peter Dye designed course.
In the 2nd round the Bermuda team will be playing the Mayakoba El Camaleón Golf Course with more favourable tee times starting at 8:15am. This is a par 72, 7,024 yard course.
Two scores out of three count for each of the four rounds.
