Will Haddrell was able to hold off the Men’s Championship field to take the 2016 Bermuda Stroke Play Championships Title, while Elizabeth Parson won the Women’s Title as play concluded at the Port Royal Golf Course.
Haddrell shot a Final Round 8-over par 79 to finish with an overall total of 11-over par. Haddrell’s Final Round saw him shoot 2 Birdies, 8 Pars, 6 Bogey’s and 2 Double Bogey’s.
Haddrell finished five strokes ahead of Jarryd Dillas who shot a Final Round 7-over par 78, Robert Vallis and Eric West finished tied third at 17-over par.
Parsons finished on the top of the Ladies Championship Leaderboard 6 strokes ahead of the second place finisher Katrin Burnie, Parsons shot a Final Round 20-over par to conclude at 37-over par for the three days, Parsons’ round consisted of 1 Birdie, 7 Pars, 4 Bogey’s, 4 Double Bogey’s, 1 Quadruple Bogey and 1 Quintuple Bogey.
Burnie finished with an overall score of 43-over par after her Final Round 22-over par, Linda Down and Kathy Lloyd-Hines finished tied third at 49-over par.
Arthur Jones was able to card a 7-over par to claim the Men’s Senior Championship title 2 strokes ahead of Ian Page. Jones’ final Round scorecard read 2 Birdies, 9 Pars, 5 Bogey’s and 2 Double Bogey’s, Jones finished at 22-over par.
Page shot a Final Round 13-over par to finish at 24-over par, Gary Brangman and Terry Mullan finished tied third at 28-over par.
