Bermuda's World Jumping Challenge Team

The final phase of the 2019 FEI Jumping World Challenge (FEI JWC) took place at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street.

The 2019 FEI JWC comprised of three separate Jumping events held on February 17th, as well as March 2nd & 9th.

The FEIs Individual, Regional & World rankings are determined from the best results from two of the three events.

In the Aon Trophy 1.20-1.30m Category A, Philip Correia & his talented chestnut stallion Emerson were crowned the Champions. This team had a cumulative result of zero faults and cumulative time of 99.88.

In the Nightmare Trophy 1.10-1.20m Category B saw Courtney Bromby riding Worth the Wait claim the Division. The pair had a cumulative score of zero faults and cumulative time of 104.96.

In the Central Carolina Trophy 1.00-1.10m Category C Division, Cody Rego riding his horse Casanova were declared the winners. This dynamic team had a cumulative score of zero faults and cumulative time of 108.33.

The 2019 Bermuda Jumping World Challenge Team members are Category A winner Correia & Emerson, Category B winner Bromby & Worth the Wait and Category C Rego & Casanova.

Judging the final phase of the FEI JWC was FEI Judge Sara McCartney of Trinidad and local FEI Judge Judy Hagen.

Bermuda must now wait until the end of 2019 to discover its final and official standings in this years FEI JWC as competing countries have until December 31st in which to conclude their events.
