Bermuda Harness Pony Racing returned to the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street, with Andrea Westerfield and Something Royal winning Heat One of the 1:10&1 & Slower Time Bar Class stopping the clock in a time of 1:12&4, Ryan King in the bike of Just Like That was second in 1:13&1 and Rock On with Kelsey Durham in bike finished third in 1:15&4.
Black & Mild with Zinho Cooper in the bike won the 1:06&2 - 1:07&1 Time bar Class with a time of 1:09&1, Ryan manders in the bike of a Touch of Red finished second in 1:10&2 and Tyler Lopes in the bike of Pastor paul finished third in a time of 1:10&3. Running in the same race but in the 1:07&1 to 1:08&1 Time Bar Class, Candyce Martins in the bike of Inwoods Progress clocked a time of 1:11&4.
Kiwon Waldron powered Skyway Majestic to victory in the 1:05 - 1:06&1 Time Bar Class clocking 1:06&1, while Inwood’s Generation and Casey Truran won the 1:06&2 - 1:07&1 Time Bar Class with a time of 1:07 flat and Park Ranger with Andrea Westerfield finished second clocking 1:09&4.
The Best Three 4 & 5 Year Olds first Heat was won by Tyler Lopes in the bike of IC’s Overextended stopping the clock in a time of 1:04&4, while Christian Truran in the bike of Pocket De Gold finished second in 1:05&1 and Just Watch Me and Cameron Harris finished third with a time of 1:05&2.
Harris was lucky earlier in the day as he and Reel Patrol avoided disaster at the finish line,, as they approached the finish Reel Patrol was trying to get back into stride and spilled across the line sliding some ten feet before regaining his feet.
