After four consecutive race days cancelled due to inclement weather, the light drizzle was not going to stop the Horses and Drivers from continuing the Harness Pony Racing Season at Vesey Street.
In the opening race of the evening, Inwood’s Progress with Christian Truran in the bike clocked the fastest time of 1:11 flat, while Shady’s Liberty with Candyce Martins in the bike finished second with a time of 1:12 flat and Tee Time with Aaron Maderios recorded a time of 1:13 flat.
Lucas Bridges won Heat 2 in the 1:06&1 to 1:07&1 Time Bar Class recording a time of 1:08 flat in the bike of Colonel’s Maestro, Inwoods Generation with Casey Truran in the bike finished second with a time of 1:09 flat and Approved Credit was third with Kiwon Waldron in the bike they clocked a time of 1:09&3.
During Heat 3 in the 1:06&1 to 1:07&1 Time Bar Class IC’s Overextended with Tyler Lopes in the bike finished first with a time of 1:07&1, while Andy Stoneham in the bike of Custard the Dragon finished second clocking 1:07&4.
