It took all of 75 minutes for Daniel Fiddick’s Waterloo Men’s Volleyball teammates to collect their first win of the season as they the Windsor Lancers in their season opening contest in Windsor.
After a tight opening set that saw the Warriors win by a score of 25-22, Waterloo pushed a little more on the gas to take the next two 25-12, 25-14.
It was an impressive night for rookie Kevin LeBreux as the 6-foot-11 left side attacker put away eight kills on just 16 attempts. LeBreux also put down three service aces and two blocks, finishing the night with 12.5 points.
Also chipping in with the attack was Jordan McConkey with eight kills with Braden Cok had seven. Nikola Dimitrijevic gave a solid effort on Waterloo's side of the ball with 25 assists and five digs.
