The Bermuda team of Team is Mimi Bridges, Christina Duff, Kathryn Dyck, Melissa Fiddick, Melisa Judd, Lara Loescher, Amber Lopes, Allison Settle-Smith and Elisabeth Rae are taking part in the 2016 USAV Open National Championships in Florida.
In their opening match the Bermuda team went down in straight games 25-19, 25-17 to the Mully’s Select, TBD LK then defeated the Bermuda team 25-12, 25-13.
Bermuda then recorded their first win of the Championships, when they defeated Don’t Roofie Me in three games 22-25, 25-21, 18-16. Just Get It Up then defeated the Bermuda team 25-21, 25-12.
Bermuda in their next game would fall 25-15, 25-15 to Squirrel Friends and then ended the day with a record of 1 & 5 after going down 25-16, 25-22 to the Chex Mix.
