At the conclusion of Day Two of competition of the ECVA BVB Zonal Tournament Qualifier to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, teams from St. Lucia and Antigua & Barbuda remain undefeated.
Bermuda went down to Grenada 3 – 1. Nivel John & Devon Paul defeated Bermuda pair Gary LeBlanc & Eric Haller in straight games 21-18, 22-20. Andrew Akin & Darron Oxford edged Bermuda’s team of Daniel Fiddick & Joshua Malpas 2 – 1. Fiddick and Malpas won the first game 22-20, but their opponents would fight back to win the next two games 21-9, 15-8.
Fiddick & Malpas pulled Bermuda within one when they defeated John & Paul in straight games 24-22, 21-17, but Akin & Oxford defeated LeBlanc & Haller in straight games 22-20, 21-19 to win the match.
