Bermuda’s young athletes went back into action competing in the 2017 edition of the NACAC Age Group Championships at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Trinidad.
During the Heptathlon Girls 60 Meter Hurdles, Za'Kayza Parsons finished 5th during Heat 4 clocking a time of 9.95, that time saw her finish 6th overall, while Selah Tuzo finished 6th in Heat 2 clocking 12.07, her time put her 25th overall.
Competing in the Pentathlon Boys Long Jump, Anaya West finished 9th in flight 2 with a leap of 4.31m, which saw him finish 13th overall.
Sancho Smith clocked a Heat 2 winning time of 12.48 during the Heptathlon Boys 80 Meter Hurdles, which saw him finish 9th overall, while Nirobi Smith-Mills finished 7th in the same heat with a time of 15.47, which saw him finish 28th overall.
A leap of 1.45m saw Parson finish T3rd in Flight 1 of the Heptathlon Girls High Jump,, which put her T4th overall, while Tuzo finished Flight 1 in 11th leaping 1.30m, which saw her finish T23rd.
Smith-Mills and Smith recorded a leap of 1.65m on their way to finishing T3rd in Flight 2 of the Heptathlon Boys High Jump which put them both T4th overall.
