Senior Dage Minors will represent the Franklin Pierce University Track & Field program at the NCAA Championships, as announced by the NCAA.
The NCAA Championships will be hosted by the University of Tampa and IMG Academy on May 25th-27th at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. The top 20 competitors in each individual event are selected to compete.
Minors will compete in the 800 meters, which will feature preliminary heats on May 26th at 6:20p.m., followed by the final on May 27th at 7:05p.m.
Minors posted his best 800-meter time of the year on April 21st, at the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton, where he stopped the clock at 1:49.39. The time currently ranks seventh in the nation, first in the East Region and first in the Northeast-10 Conference. Minors also qualified for the NCAA Championships in the indoor 800 meters this year, where he finished fourth.
