The 2017 Bermuda National Athletic Association’s Track and Field Season continued with Meet 9 hosted by the Pacers and Flyers at the National Sports Center.
With the Flying Angels who came in for the Relay Classic on Friday evening still on island featuring Desiree Kennedy-Swan who has connections with Bermuda through her father Perry Swan from St George’s in action, the Track Meet was arranged.
Kennedy-Swan will want to forget the day as she was suffering with a slight pulled hamstring after the 200m Dash and was not able to continue the day.
Clevonte Lodge won the Under 18 Boys 400 Meter Dash with a time of 50.19, Elisha Darrell finished second clocking 54.24 and Nirobi Smith-Mills finished third with a time of 55.45.
The Under 18 Girls 800 Meter Run was won by Tes'yah-Mahle Astwood who recorded a time of 2:30.23, Mikaela Outerbridge was second with a time of 2:36.12 and Jade Johnson finished third with a time of 2:42.27.
Zekiah Lewis won the Under 18 Girls Long Jump with a top leap of 5.32m, Genesis Ghide-Bryan was second in 4.93m and Makayla Tucker finished third with a time of 4.66m.
