Michaiah Robinson is a young man of great promise. He is witty, intelligent and the one of the fastest 400m /800m runners in his age group in Bermuda.
Robinson has represented Bermuda locally and internationally for his running ability, where he has achieved personal bests as he continues to grow and master his craft.
It has always been a dream of Robinson’s to go overseas to high school for growth and exposure to scholarship opportunities for his running ability.
Robinson who represents Washington Academy has held the High School State Champion Title for 200m and 400m for the 2016 Outdoor season and 200m and 400m for the 2017 Indoor Track season.
As a result of his success, in January Robinson was invited to represent the State of Maine in an international event called Down Under Sports Tournament in Australia in July 2017.
Robinson is the only Bermudian who is taking part in this Track and Field Event.
The event is being held in Australia July 2nd-10th 2017, and comes with a total cost is $4,699.00. To this end Robinson’s family is looking for assistance in his bid to attend a once in a lifetime venture that could lead to some many other opportunities, the cost includes accommodations, ground transport, 2 meals per day, airfare from LAX to Australia and a sightseeing excursion.
